Backend Design

I would be proud to say that most of the development was done with Open Source software in an Open Source Environment (Ubuntu).  

This site runs on Joomla! 1.5, an open source content management system (CMS). After months of experimentation with other CMS such as Drupal and ModX, I decided to go for Joomla! 1.5 because of its ease of use and extensibility. Many have asked why I choose to go for a CMS rather than a design a simple web site with Dreamweaver or any other HTML editor. The reasons are that I like to experiment and ease of content management. I do have great plans for this site and CMS is the only way I can accomodate my dreams.

This site installation was carried out with SimpleScripts (a remote automated script installation utility).
